Who we are

What we collect

• Account: your name, email address and password (stored scrambled, never readable).
• Worker profiles: title, trade, experience, day rate, postcode, travel distance, phone number, skills, about text, work history and your CV.
• Cards and tickets: card types, numbers, expiry dates and photos of the cards you upload.
• Company profiles: company name, contact name and job title, phone, company number, website, postcode and job adverts.
• Activity: jobs you apply to, workers you unlock, and when you signed in.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one to time the free 5-minute preview. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

• To run your account and the service you signed up for (contract).
• To match workers with jobs and show profiles to employers (contract and legitimate interests).
• To check cards so employers can trust a Verified tick (legitimate interests).
• To take subscription payments and keep tax records (contract and legal obligation).

Who can see what

• Employers can see a worker's profile, trade, area (first half of the postcode only), experience and whether their cards are verified.
• A worker's phone number and CV are only shown to employers they apply to, or who unlock them with a Business plan.
• Card photos are only seen by the worker and Graft's checking team. Employers never see them.
• We use these suppliers to run Graft: Render (hosting, EU), Backblaze (storage, EU), Stripe (payments), postcodes.io (postcode lookup) and Adzuna (job listings).

How long we keep it

Until you delete your account. When you do, your profile, CV and card photos are deleted straight away and removed from our daily backups within 30 days. We keep payment records for six years because the law requires it.

Your rights

You can see, download, correct and delete your information at any time from your account. You can also object to how we use it or ask us to limit it by emailing [privacy email]. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Using Graft

Graft is run by [company name]. By creating an account you agree to these terms. You must be 16 or over and give accurate information.

Workers

• Only add cards and tickets you genuinely hold, with real photos. Faking a card gets your account closed and may be reported.
• A Verified tick means our team has compared your photo with the details you entered. It is not a check with the card scheme itself.

Employers

• Only post real jobs that you have the authority to fill, with honest pay and conditions.
• Use workers' contact details only to talk about work, and follow UK data protection law when you do.

Plans and payments

• Graft Pro (£2.99 a month) and Graft for Business (£49 a month plus VAT) renew monthly until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from the plan page. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
• Payments are taken by Stripe. Prices can change with 30 days' notice.

Example and partner listings

Jobs marked Example show how listings look and are not real vacancies. Jobs from partners such as Adzuna are run by those partners; apply on their site.

Our responsibility

Graft introduces workers and employers. We are not the employer, and we don't guarantee work, pay or any person's suitability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
